is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Philosophy, State University of Milan. She holds a Ph.D. in Feminist Phenomenology from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University (Milan), during which she did research visiting stays in the US (George Washington University) and the UK (University of Exeter). After her Ph.D. defense in September 2021, she works as a postdoctoral fellow at the Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of Haifa.

Her main research interest is the relationship between the rhetorical processes of subjectivation and the situated lived experiences of the Self, which she investigates in the fields of phenomenology, STS, aesthetics, and feminist philosophy.

In these years, she has explored the topic of pregnancy through the lens of phenomenological analyses (Husserl, Merleau-Ponty, Beauvoir, Young, and contemporary scholars) by investigating the specific temporalities, embodiment, and sensory experiences of the gestating self.

She is currently working on a project entitled Imagin(in)g. In utero Imagination and Visualization, which aims to critically explore fetal personhood as produced by the technological medium, by challenging the invisibilization of the maternal subject.
