Irene Pipicelli

(she/they) is a researcher and curator. She is a PhD student in Performing Arts at the State University of Turin. Her interdisciplinary approach emerges from the connections between performance studies, media studies and philosophy. Her research intertwines the investigation of queer temporalities, radical artistic practices and contemporary archives. In her doctoral research, she investigates processes of acquisition, conservation and curation in Italian contemporary dance, crossing feminist materialism, queer theory, and media archaeology. Since 2019 she is part of CONTRA/DIZIONI, a conference program on queer and feminist philosophy at the State University of Milan.
