Giulia Rignano

(she/they) is a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Philosophy & The Faculty of Arts of KU Leuven within the Gendered Mimesis Project (C1 Grant). She graduated in Philosophy at the University of Milan with a MA’s dissertation on the concept of matter in the works of Gilles Deleuze and Karen Barad. Her research moves between Neomaterialist perspectives, Mimetic processes and Feminist and Queer Theories. She has collaborated with the international research group IdEm. Identification, empathie, projection dans les arts du spectacle (CNRS, Paris) and since 2019 she is part of CONTRA/DIZIONI, a conference program on queer and feminist philosophy based at the University of Milan.
